Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

LTEC (again) and an important announcement!

Hey! sorry for the short journal last night, i just wanted to let everyone know about my successes at the LTEC Competition! The event started at 6:30 Saturday and i was stressing out all day! My co-worker and i drove downtown to the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh around 5:30p, her driving (on a permit with no one in the passenger's seat) and me in the trunk of her Van straddling my cake making sure nothing terrible happened! We got everything there in one piece and set up immediately. They didn't announce the winners until 9:15pm but we had a ton of cakes to taste and vote on for people's choice awards. When 9:15 arrived i was SO nervous. They announced the Amateur Category winners first and my stomach never settled. eventually they announced the winners of the Professional Category. And i pretty much won EVERY award in the Pro. Cat. Best Artistic Design, Best Overall Structure, and Best Cake Overall (out of all cakes entered). I about died! like holy crap! I'm barely 22 years old, 2 years out of pastry school and i rock the house and beat people that have been doing this for YEARRRRRSSSS! it makes me proud of myself, not to toot my own horn of anything haha!

So my other announcement is that i am going to make this page (Heidilu22) devoted to cakes ONLY! now i know some people (very few i assume) follow me for my photography and traditional art but i really feel like i need a separation between the two genre's. so don't be surprised when you start seeing my Traditional art things disappear! Ill post another journal about what my second page's name will be so you can watch me on there if you like my Traditional work. :) any questions or concerns ask away!

And if i didnt say it already thanks to everyone for the support and congratulatory wishes on my cake! you all rock!
